in data 17 una ulteriore richiesta da parte della JARL. Speriamo che tutti ne tengano il dovuto conto...

North Eastern Japan was hit by a huge earthquake and Tsunami on March 11th, 2011. For assisting disaster relief operation, JARL is operating its HQ station JA1RL with cooperating stations for communications with suffered area.
The operation is mainly at 7.030 MHz during 0600-2000JST (2100-1100UTC) daily.
We would like to ask all radio amateurs to avoid transmission around 7.030 MHz until further notice for keeping that frequency clear from QRM.

Re: From the land of earth quake

giusto per rimanere in tema ecco la lettera del mio amico hide jf1--- dopo il terremoto:

      Hi Fabio,

I really appreciated for your warmest words to me and to my family as well as our nation Japan suffering great disaster from the earthquake, TSUNAMI and a huge damage of the Nuclear Power Station.

Please accept to my apology for late reply, because just in the time when we had happened that big earthquake I was at my 2nd shack, mountain cottage, driving my car to the high-way gate. Suddenly my cellular-phone and car-radio were barking the alarm and announcing will get a big earthquake comes and stop the car safely, then after a minute or so my car was shaking, just like a spinning top and road was waving with trees on the hills what I never experience before. I really felt its being a long time but actually that happened in a minute. After over the earthquake I noticed that the roads changed shape completely after a minute ago, there was many clacks with big bumpy and holes, and those water supply and drainage manholes were popping-out like a mushroom 1 meter above on the ground.

I returned to my cottage, cottage is OK, but inside was terrible, all of shelves are dropped and the refrigerator is fallen down, it’s really mess, but those my transceivers and equipments are no damage due to strong wire connected with transceivers and amplifiers for the ground earth which the earth wires were helped to stop the equipment moves from the desk, but desk top computer and display are dropped to the floor but works ok.

Only completely damaged is “Vibroplex” paddle, it was dropped to the floor. About the hf 20m antenna, it seems to be OK damage with small bent on the reflector elements as having SWR 1.3.

After this disaster happened, those High-Way are closed except rescue and emergency vehicles and ordinal roads have been so heavy traffic due to those people who are evacuating from the region suffered great damage from the earthquake and Tsunami, however more over these heavy traffics huge number of tracks and cars bumper to bumper loaded with supporting cargo are driving to those areas of where the Tsunami damaged.

Therefore, I could not return to Tokyo until last night, but once again I am everything ok and really appreciated your kind words. I am sure that we will catch up normal situation quickly.

      Best regards 73
