In order to stop the growing immorality that populate our packet cluster network , we ask the sysops around the world to enable the password for single user access. The Sysop issues a password to any amateur who requests it. The system configured in this way will require at login BEFORE ANY ACTIVITY the username and the password assigned .
Only registered users will be allowed to send spots or announces through the node while everybody will be allowed to do read-only activity.
This procedure should at least reduce the misuse of the system, such as access to the packet cluster with the name of another ham (criminal offense of impersonation other identity), with fancy names or worse.
Remain the fact that, if even only one Sysop not join to this initiative, we leave a backdoor that gave the possibility of continuing to abuse the packet cluster.

WE COUNT HIGHLY on ITALIAN PRIDE : ALL THE ITALIAN NETWORK PCL provided with PASSWORDS !

Experimentation started in recent days with IK4ICZ and IR4U who have already enabled access with passwords.

Any password request will be very welcome by those two sysops.

ITALIAN AND FOREIGN RADIO AMATEURS, ask your nearest SYSOP to join the initiative!

The President of YASME foundation Mr. Wayne N7NG, engine and main sponsor of Dxsummit cluster, take act that spotting without registration is a bad thing that can involve useless flames, and starting from now he try to push up to DXsummit coders the implementation of mandatory registration/login prior to spot.

A little milestone on the long way.
