Ricevo e condivido quanto i manager di questo carinissimo contest hanno inviato. E' una gara dove ci si diverte in quanto molto frequentata, targhe per i partecipanti in diverse categorie ( molto belline anche loro ). Quest anno festeggiano il 60.mo e per gli "irriducibili" ci sono targhe speciali , a partire da chi ha cominciato nel 1989 e più indietro.
Io sono fuori gara perchè la prima volta è stata nel 2003.

Please welcome to SAC CW next week and SSB some weeks later: CW 21-22 September and SSB 12-13 October.

Our beloved SAC is 60 years old, and for this anniversary we offer special dipolomas:

Bronze - to those whose first SAC was 1980-1989
Silver - to those whose first SAC was 1970-1979
Gold - to those whose first SAC was 1960-1969
Platina - to those who were in first SAC 1959

To get this you only need to report your first SAC-year when uploading your log.

Each part of this "Polar Battle" gathers 1000+ contesters from all around the world. As the Nordic hams enter their radio huts en masse, SAC offers non-scandinavians a unique opportunity to work the propagationally challenged Arctic nations and practice your skills.

Ciao Helga grazie della segnalazione, in questo periodo le HF sono fuori dalla mia testa. Oggi ho terminato gli ultimi dettagli dell'allestimento della mia stazione portatile, semovente, V-U-SHF "Panzer Faust". (l'auto è un noto suv crucco 4x4, per cui scherzosamente lo chiamo il mio carro armato)

Per il SAC parteciperò [SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED ALL LOW] anche se trasmetterò solo in 40M, (nota curiosa per gli Scandinavi è prevista la (SINGLE BAND) per i non Scandinavi NISBA,) Di SAC ne ho fatti diversi in passato, ma chi si ricorda più!, forse il primo è stato nel 1970 o giù di lì, del resto non è questo il mio scopo, targhe e diplomi, sono l'ultimo dei miei pensieri.

Alla fine del contest ci scambieremo le impressioni. L'importante è partecipare e divertirsi.
